The time has come to open our highly popular Rybczynski Prize Competition 2026, kindly sponsored by KPMG.

To be in with a chance of winning £5000, and gain a higher profile among professional colleagues, we welcome you to enter this presitgious competition that is much anticipated every year. 

Entrants will have the chance to win a prize of £5,000 which will be awarded at the Society’s 2026 Annual Dinner on 22 September and the author(s) of the final shortlisted entries will be invited to the dinner as guests of the SPE.

Essays must be submitted by 1 July 2026 and should not have been published before 1 January 2025 ie. this prize is for work written and/or published between the start of the calendar year 2025 and the closing date.
